Our Story

Seventy years in the making.

Our story begins in 1955, when Philips introduced the first wired television remote control. Seventy years of engineering heritage — through the RC5 protocol, the first universal remote, the Pronto touchscreen, and beyond — flows directly into everything Omni Devices builds today.

Today, with 1.5 billion devices shipped, 200+ patents, and manufacturing across five regions on three continents, we continue to push the boundaries of what control technology can do.

“Partners in Success” — we don't fulfill orders. We solve engineering challenges alongside our clients, for as long as they need us.

How We Work

How we work.

Three principles that have defined every customer relationship, every product, and every decision since 1990.

Partners in Success

We don't fulfill orders — we solve problems. From the first design brief through end-of-life, our teams stay embedded alongside yours. Our customer relationships average over a decade. That's not a metric. It's how we work.

Driven by Innovation

We don't follow the roadmap — we write it. With 200+ active patents and 80+ engineers across six countries, our R&D culture traces directly to Philips. Every product we deliver reflects genuine engineering advancement, not off-the-shelf assembly.

Built to Last Responsibly

Responsible design has been non-negotiable since our Philips days. EcoVadis Silver rated. Solar-perpetual devices, ocean-bound recycled plastics, and biodegradable packaging. Sustainability goes into the brief — not on as an afterthought.

Global Presence

Four continents. Every major market.

We engineer and manufacture everywhere our customers need us — with full supply chain resilience and regional expertise built into every major market. Hover over any marker to explore our footprint.
